CNA training classes are formally introduced to colleges and other medical societies. Usually, there is an assigned education body such as the College of Nursing that handles the CNA curriculum. By calling these institutions it may be found out if they’re offering any CNA Training Classes. These trainings are often very costly and cost about $800-$2000 but at the same time they give practical hospital training combined with classroom lectures to offer the first hand connection with responsibilities and duties. These trainings also don’t need any type of requirements and just showing the high school diploma is sufficient.

These CNA Training Classes are generally executed by registered nurses where wide variety of education is provided to the students like the way to feed a patient or the way to bathe them properly or their correct posture of sitting and lying down etc. Special instruction on the gadgets that are used for patients under catheter care, infection control or dementia is imparted to the students and they are also taught things like inflections of a person in depression, the way to handle patients under infection control, catheter care or dementia. As an evaluation after the program, they’ll handle 2 kinds of exams. The clinical and also the written one. The written test covers what they have learned from their lectures and their clinical tests are similar to return demonstrations on the various things that they have learned. An encouraging profession awaits the students outside the university after passing both examinations.

Considering that the CNA Training classes is quite expensive some institutions are also offering free CNA Training because there is a huge demand of CNAs specifically in the senior care homes. These CNA homes itself are offering such free courses, generally the ones which have more than 200 beds and this can be learned by calling any such large senior care home. The State’s Department of Public Health also provides scholarships and pays off the complete fees of training and its certification exam. For availing such free CNA training students need to qualify their criteria of selection i.e. having a crime free record, to be literate in basic knowledge and possess math skill, English fluency, high school diploma and the age of 18 and above.

The institution that supported the student for free CNA training will need the student to work for them upon completing the course and after being certified by passing the final exam. Institutions doesn’t have the right to hold back any student and demand for a return service so long as the student are going to pay all the expenditures incurred to avoid legal cases to happen.
