With college confidential, or ‘CC’ as its commonly called by members, you get completely objective information from people who are applying, have applied, or have already got accepted or rejected to that school.

You will find out exactly who got in where, what their scores were, extra curriculars, etc. Another common thing on collegle confidential are “chances” threads. This is where a member will make a post listing their high school resume, list of credentials, scores, etc. for other members to “chance” them on a certain school: there is a board for almost every accredited university or college imaginible, from small liberal arts universities to large state colleges, you can find out exactly what an experience at one of those schools will be like. As you can see, College Confidential is a great opportunity for free college scholarships, learning about colleges, and finding out which colleges you have a chance to get into. This is a very knowledgable learning community, and you will be humbled very quickly by all the 2400 SATs and people whining because they got a 2360 instead of a 2400. Besides that, it’s great!
