Youngstown, OH, United States (AHN) – Two people have been charged in the Sunday shooting at a fraternity party in northeastern Ohio that left one dead and 11 injured.

Columbus Jones, 22, and Braylon Rogers, 19, were each charged with aggravated murder, 11 counts of felonious assault, and discharging a firearm into a habitation.

The suspects are believed to have left the party following an altercation. They allegedly returned and opened fire, killing Jamail Johnson, a student who was trying to keep two groups from arguing.

The injured were treated at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Six were university students, and one is a high school student, Shavai Owens, who remains at the hospital in critical condition.

The shooting happened at a home on Indiana Avenue just north of the university. Police say there was no threat to the campus at the time of the incident.
